The social, emotional, physical and cognitive domains are considered for all students. We acknowledge the diversity of students at EPS and work to maintain inclusive classrooms and school for diagnosed students with disabilities and educational needs.
Through collaborative problem solving, a plan of action to address concerns is formulated. Students continue to be monitored, and adjustments made accordingly. We make use of On-Call interpreters when meeting with parents who have little or no English.
The school psychologist is an important member of the team, their insight into student behaviour and learning is valuable for teachers when documented plans are required. They may complete observations and / or assessments on identified students to assist in identifying areas of need.
